Catherine is very close to completion! Next week the road will be graded and prepped for asphalt. The asphalt contractor is scheduled to be on site 10\/7 & 10\/8. Fourth Ave. and Catherine between Main & Division are scheduled to open by 10\/10.\n\nThe next phase of the watermain installation, located in the intersection of Main, is scheduled to begin on 10\/5. The plan is to do this work with a partial road closure on Main Street. Additional information will be shared as the work gets underway.\n\nMost of the concrete work for the bikeway has been completed.\n\nThe DDA\u2019s Miller\/Catherine construction project is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 26. I will be sending weekly construction updates via email, if you prefer not to receive these updates, please let me know and I will remove you from the list. There is also a Miller\/Catherine construction Facebook group that will have similar ongoing updates: https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/366261185703609\n\nProject Details:\n\nWHAT: The project includes installation of a two-way separated bikeway on the south side of Miller\/Catherine from First to Division, streetscape bumpouts on the south side of Miller at Main, and watermain installation from Main to Fourth and stormwater improvements in support of the Ann Arbor Housing Commission\u2019s project at 121 E. Catherine.\n\nWHEN: Construction is anticipated to be complete in late fall \/ early winter.\n\nWHERE: Miller\/Catherine from First to Division. Traffic will be restricted to local traffic (parking will be maintained on Detroit Street between Catherine & Fifth) and emergency vehicles including trash and recycle collection and delivery vehicles. Traffic control plan is attached. Remain on while in the store. Be hands free.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>You May Not: Leave your nose exposed. Use a hand-held mask. Use your shirt as a mask.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Mask maybe a cloth face covering (woven or tightly-knit, but no lace or crochet) or a surgical mask, or respirator which fully covers nose and mouth. A plastic face-shield my be used in combination with a mask but is not an acceptable substitute. <\/il>\n \t\n\n<li>For individuals not able to wear a mask we offer online ordering with contact less pick-up.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>We have dedicated shopping time for customers in higher risk categories( Tuesdays and Thursdays 8am-9am).<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Increasing frequency of sanitizing high-touch surfaces.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Installing additional hand sanitizing stations.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Maintaining our already high sanitation practices.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Daily health screenings for all staff.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Reminding staff to stay home if experiencing cold or flu symptoms.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Temporarily suspending food sampling.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Suspended self-serve items in the caf\u00e9<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Suspended hot bar and salad bar service.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Suspended in-house dining the common seating area will be closed<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>Temporarily suspending bottle, can, and compostable containers returns (effective 3\/20)<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>We will continue to take case orders<strong>:\u00a0 <\/strong>There will be a lag time based on warehouse availability sometimes multiple weeks. Especially bulk beans and rice due to demand. Our case order return policy is still in place. Sorry, no returns on case orders once they leave the store.<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>We limit the number of customers in the store.
